Mad Jake’s Adopt-A-Family For Christmas
As posted in a status a few days ago, we are sponsoring TWO families for Christmas. They are both sponsored through Medicine Hat Women’s Shelter. They’ve sent us a ‘wish’ list and we are going to try our hardest to purchase or collect every item on that list. We will be selling Christmas Tree cut outs at the pub for $2 to go towards our shopping spree for these very deserving families and will also be collecting extra monetary donations as well as any UNWRAPPED gits for these families. Hey Fans!
Mad Jake’s has begun participating in Medicine Hat’s Women’s Shelters project ADOPT-A-FAMILY for Christmas.
What we do here is collect funds, and once the shelter matches us with our family, we use the funds to purchase gifts, and Christmas Trimmings (decorations, meals etc) and send it all back to our sponsored family! These people without our help would not have a Christmas at all so we think it’s a great thing! I am working on puting up a donate link ASAP! Would LOVE if you could help us out in reaching our goal in sponsoring 2 families in need.
NEW MENU is now out, kinks worked out, and everyone loves the new menu items…the Jack Daniels Dog Bones are awesome! We will have the new menu uploaded shortly!
Our 2nd Birthday Bash is this coming weekend! Gas City Shocker takes the stage both nights and OF COURSE the perogie eating competition is Saturday night. Looks like Rob is excited to get his title back! We are running an ‘OLD SCHOOL’ theme as well! FUN and EXCITING times for sure!

We’ve renovated!!! Kudos to all our customers, friends and regulars for being so patient with our on going renos. We are 98% complete. We welcome a new stage & dance floor! Our entire flooring throughout the pub was replaced (thank you ALBERTS FLOORING & CARPET excellent job!) The main bar was sanded, stripped and restained, what a difference a little TLC makes!
We are sure you will agree, the pub looks fantastic, much deservingly so! The only thing that would make it look even better is if you were sitting there right now enjoying a nice cold bevey!! =)

Starting July 1st we will be bringing WIN YOUR TAB BACK!
It’s simple, all you have to do is sign the back of your receipt with your name, phone number and email address (so we can include you in upcoming promotions and events). There will be a winner drawn every Friday at 7pm and the lucky winner will be notified the next day. The winner will win their tab amount in a Mad Jake’s Gift Card.
MEDICINE HAT DART LEAGUE (Tuesday Nights – starting this Fall)
Starting this fall, we will be joining the Medicine Hat Dart league. Registration is August 10 so if you want to be part of one of our Mad Jake’s teams please sign up with Mel at (403) 487-5050. I do believe cost is $35 per person for the season. If you already have a team and would like your whole team to play out of here please let us know ASAP we would LOVE to have you!!! Dart league plays every Tuesday night!
POOL LEAGUE (Monday/Wednesday Nights – starting this Fall)

We’ve had the Geek Freak Chic, Cowboys and Indians, Halloween, CEO’s and Corporate Hoes & Trailer Park Boys crawling pub to pub!
